Arizona Guide
Our trip to Arizona was so fun! I pulled together this Arizona guide with all our faves and what we did during our stay!
We got to see and do so many things and we even got to spend a little time with family and friends – is a move in the cards for the Webb fam?!
We even got to meet some of our Instagram friends in person. We met up with @alexajeanbrown and her family the kids were instant best friends it was so cute!
We stayed at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and it was amazing! Right when we checked in, we got a stretch limo golf cart ride to our room with all of our luggage in tow. Right when we got there, one of the first things we did was head to the pool for a bit. Since we went around Halloween time, they had a Pumpkin Fest going on, which was a little festival with rides and games for the kids. We got rained out one night, but we did make it back there on our last night!
Hands down, the best part were the lobby dogs, lol!
They are two golden retrievers who hang out in the lobby to greet everyone. There were 6 pools, but the kids didn’t care. They just wanted to hang out with the dogs the whole time.
The everyone at the hotel was incredible and soooo nice! When we got back to our room one night there was a book about the lobby dogs along with two stuffed dogs waiting on the beds for the kids. There were also two goodie buckets of treats and s’mores supplies!
Next for our Arizona trip was a little exploring!
We spent a little bit of time in Old Town Scottsdale. It has a big mall and then there’s an older part too with shops and restaurants. We had breakfast one morning at Breakfast Club, which was recommended by you guys, and then we walked around for a bit. If you go, checkout The Merchantile of Scottsdale and it was soooo cute! It’s a big space with a bunch of different vendors and everything there is made by local artists.
Old Town has some super cute murals too. Our favorite was this one the side of Geisha A Go Go! We actually took a picture here a few years ago! (#ItsThatHot, @ScottsdaleAz, Art by @MsLaurenLee).
This is a must for any Arizona Guide – so good for the ‘gram!
While driving around, we had some fun going through neighborhoods to look at some of the houses and different areas around Scottsdale. And we also drove to Chandler and Gilbert where we found the cutest neighborhood with beautiful homes and ranch properties. Overall, we saw some pretty incredible houses and properties!
We took a day trip about 2.5 hours north to Bearizona. Our drive took us through Flagstaff and it was so pretty. It reminded me of the drive to Tahoe.
Bearizona is one of those parks where you drive through and the animals roam about and can come up to the car. The restaurant there is really cool too, it’s like you’re eating inside of a cave! It’s called the Canyonlands Restaurant at Bearizona.
After Bearizona we drove through Sedona and it felt like the Cars Ride at Disneyland. We got out at Bell Rock and walked around to find a place for a photo. The camera didn’t do it justice, it was seriously sooo pretty.
An Arizona Guide MUST. Then we headed back to the Fairmont!
We checked out the next morning!
But not before another little Webb Family adventure! We had promised the kids they could use their s’mores kits before we left. But we were so busy and had so much going on that we didn’t have time, so on the last morning it came down to now or never and we decided to let them have s’mores for breakfast – I am a cool mom, ok?
And of course it just so happened that the local news was there that morning so the whole world got to see us letting our kids have marshmallows for breakfast. We would’ve let them do it regardless, but it was just so funny that out of all the mornings for the news to be there, it was that one haha!
Before we left we spent a little more time with the lobby dogs and the kids were so sad to say goodbye. Until next time Arizona!
And if you missed our Monterey Guide, sharing that here! It’s so worth a little trip!
