Baby Safety Month: Chicco MyFit Zip Air Harness + Booster
Over the last five years, we’ve used a number of different car seats. From the moment we found out we were pregnant five years ago with Savannah, making sure we had the absolute best car seat to keep her safe was always a priority. And of course, the same thing applied when we had Hunter. I still remember the day we drove home from the hospital, we were so scared to even go the speed limit with such precious cargo in the back!
It seems crazy to me sometimes that time has moved so quickly and we now have a three and five year old. And with them growing up so fast, means new car seats, and making sure they continue to stay as safe as possible as they grow into new car seats! September is Baby Safety Month – and this week is National Child Passenger Safety Week – so I thought it would be a perfect time to highlight the car seat we’re using: the Chicco MyFit Zip Air Harness + Booster.
We have officially moved Savy over to a booster seat, and Hunter is in a forward-facing car seat and I’m excited to share why we love the Chicco MyFit so much!
The Chicco MyFit Zip Air Harness + Booster transitional car seat was the best option for us when it came time to upgrade our car seats. I love that it’s able to grow with them, no matter what stage of life. So even though Hunter is in the front harness right now, when the time comes for him to be in a booster seat, it can easily transform into a booster style seat, without having to go out and buy another seat!
A few of our favorite things about it include:
-The five-point harness for security
-A nine-position extended headrest and easy transition to a belt-positioning booster accommodates years of growing
-Easy cleaning. (there is even a second full seat pad to continue travel while top pads are being washed)
-It is the only Harness Booster to provide four true recline positions, allowing children to rest with optimal posture and no head flop.
-The kids have reported that this is their favorite car seat, for comfort reasons, and the fact they can attach a drink holder and a snack holder as well!

We all feel it’s the most functional, and safe car seat we’ve had to date, and we love that it saves us the time and money of having to upgrade to a new car seat any time they reach a growth limit!
