Fashion for the Whole Family
Let me start by saying I might be the pickiest mom ever when it comes to what my kids are going to wear. It’s kind of hilarious because I spend almost every day in the same baggy shirts and skinny jeans but, my kids? Oh no, they constantly look like they’re going to some kids fashion show or something. When I find brands that me AND the kids love, they have me wrapped around their finger for years.
Here are the things I look for in kids clothing:
Number 1: It has to be fashionable, obvi. I want them to wear stuff that I look at and I’m like- I totally want that for myself. Which is the case for almost everything Savy wears. I know fashionable means something different to everyone. To me, I love that “casual, chic, not trying too hard but looks totally put together” type look. That makes sense right?
Number 2: It has to be comfortable. Baby jeans are the absolute cutest. But when they have no stretch and your baby cant move, that means pissed off baby which leads to stressed out mommy. No beuno and no thank you. I want my babes to look extra cute but never feel restrained or be crying hysterically because I can’t get a shoe to go on. Seriously some of the shoes out there…I’m so confused, like did you not test these to know they are totally not going to go on a baby foot!? Give me some elastic or velcro or something!
Number 3: I want it to be something they can wear for more than a week. I love the clothes I find that look good a tad big, but once they get a little snug you can still make it work. Maybe I’m cheap but come on, nobody wants to buy expensive clothes for their babies every month right? I literally get a stomach ache every time I clear out the clothes they’ve grown out of. I’ve probably (okay, definitely) been that mom at some point that put my kid in something way too small because I just didn’t want to accept the fact that it didn’t fit anymore.
So, moral of the story, when I find brands that have just the right amount of stretch, comfort, and cuteness, I have to share them with you all! Are you ready guys? BEAU HUDSON. I mean, if the pictures aren’t enough, just go to their website and check out all of their insanely cute fits and accessories. And the icing on the cake (for me) is they have matching fits for moms and even dads too! I will seriously make my kids match and coordinate with me probably until they leave for college. Just kidding 😉
Beau Sweatshirts
These sweatshirts are life. They are so soft and comfortable I can’t stand it! For size reference, I’m wearing a small, Sav is wearing a 3 and Hunter is in 6-12 month.
Matchy Matchy- Denim Shirts
The matchy match I was talking about. These denim shirts are that perfect shade and they’re soft with a bit of stretch so you don’t feel like you can’t move your arms. I’ve found that a lot of the mommy daughter clothes out there aren’t really things I would wear if it wasn’t for matching my kids. This brand is the exception.
Comfortable and Fashionable
These cardigans and beanies. I just can’t say enough good things. And their jeans, this is what I’m talking about. They’re actually stretchy so they can still move around and be kids!
So all you mamas out there looking for your new go to clothing brands for kids, add this one to your list and be prepared to want and need everything! Anyone have any favorite brands or stores they love? Let me know!
