Natural Hair Products For Kids
You all know I’m always on the hunt for some good quality natural products for me and the kids. So when I was sent the Rock the Locks product line to try, I couldn’t have been more stoked. From their fun and vibrant packaging, to the way this stuff smells, they’ve got me hooked. And as you can see, the kids love them too.
Lets start with some of the things I love about this stuff.
Numero Uno- You guessed it. It’s all natural! It’s infused with essential oils and scented with super food extracts which gives these products the best smell! Do any of you remember the Mr. Sketch smelly markers from when we were young? I do, because I would always have marker all over my face from smelling them constantly during class. Could Not Stop. But anyway, the shampoo literally smells exactly like the blue marker! Talk about nostalgia and its giving me all the feels of being a kid again.
Another reason I love this line is it covers all the basics. From the hair detangling to the styling gel, no matter what your doing theres a product for it. Savannah wakes up with the most intense bed head every morning and its the biggest fight for her to just let me brush her hair. What the heck she does every night to wake up looking like that, I will never know! So having a good detangler for me is a huge thumbs up.
Another product I’ve been using on the daily is the Flex Style Gel. My little man finally has enough hair to style it a little! Hallelujah! It’s not much but I’ve been able to give him a little mini fohawk and its the cutest thing everrrr. So I’ll style his tiny little hairs in the morning, and no joke he wakes up from his nap and it still looks like that! What?!? But its not like insanely crusty hard or anything like that. I just kind of love it.
The shampoo/conditioner is great. For my daughter, I wish there was a separate shampoo and conditioner because, like I said earlier, I need some strong detangler on this girl! But its perfect for kids that don’t have as long of hair (and as wild of hair) as she does.
And now that the weather is good again, we may opt to take all of our baths out on the lawn, and possibly on this unicorn float every day. Just kidding… sort of 😉 It was pretty fun though!
