RV Road Trip
We kicked off Spring Break with one of our fave family pastimes: an RV Road Trip! We love to travel, and this time was so fun because we got to experience it with all three kids! They love a good road trip and this one did not disappoint!
We rented our RV from RVshare.com! This was our first time renting an RV but we had a great experience and the whole process was super easy and convenient! We chose to drive my car all the way there, and then rent the RV in Newport Beach so we were able to have a car to use down there as well! It worked out really well!
We stayed at Newport Dunes – they have the bay which is perfect for kids and in the summer they have a blow up water play area on the water! We love being able to be on the beach in minutes and of course get a of water play in. The kids always sleep so well!
Our pool day was at the Hilton in Huntington Beach. They have the slide that the kids love and the pool over looks the beach, which is the best of both worlds in my opinion! This property is so nice and has the yummiest food!
Our last night was stayed at JW Marriott La Marigot and it was perfect since it was walking distance to the pier, as well as some cute breakfast spots! They had a great pool with access to the beach too!
The Santa Monica Pier just opened a couple weeks ago, but they only let in a certain amount of people at a time and only fill the rides 50%. And you can’t ride next to someone that is not a part of your family. It was super fun because you felt like it was more of a personal experience – it’s crazy to see it at such a low capacity! But still so great!
I am sharing all the details of our must haves for this trip and any others – Summer is just around the corner, so you know we will be hitting the road for another one soon!

Plum and Sparrow Moses basket
Snuggle me for her to lounge in at the beach
Pop up tent that is fully open on one side so we could sit in the tent with her.
Lots of extra outfit changes!
Pacifier clips because we would have lost them all if we didn’t have the clips!
UppaBaby stroller and car seat combo

And…For the big kids:
Kindles (bought the WiFi package in my car for unlimited WiFi so they could even watch Netflix or Disney plus)
Lots of snacks for car ride
