Summer’s Bedroom
Baby Summer finally has a bedroom!! I think this is the biggest “how it started vs, how its going” transformation ever! Gone are the days of her sleeping in our closet, thank goodness! And it’s the first room completely done in the new house. I had so much fun getting to decorate Summer’s bedroom to be a space of her own for her to play and grow into!
Ok, so now for the links! I tried to find as many links as I could for you for Summer’s bedroom and if I couldn’t find the exact thing, I linked something similar!
First, I found this really cute rainbow mural from Rocky Mountain Decals that I had installed – I found someone to come install it and Jas was pretty happy about that haha! Here are 1 and 2 similar ones I found. Once that was up we got to hang her name sign up in its permanent spot too.
The more storage the better, so I stole an idea from my friend Krista Horton and bought the 6-drawer and 3-drawer Malm Dressers from Ikea and put them next to each other to make one big dresser. This gives her PLENTY of storage for her clothes. Here is a similar 6-drawer dresser from Wayfair and the mirror above the dresser is also from Wayfair. I added these gold drawer pulls from Amazon to make it feel like more of a custom furniture piece!
Summer’s crib is from Pottery Barn Kids. Her crib mattress is the same one we’ve always had for her from Newton Baby. It’s their breathable mattress and I love how much more secure I feel knowing she can breathe through it, especially when she was smaller. Her crib sheet is also from them too!
The rug is from Wayfair and I love how perfectly the colors in it match the colors in her wallpaper!
Etsy is such a great place to find smaller decor, more personal decor pieces. There are so many sellers that have pampas grass on there. And then it’s where I got her custom rainbow sign on the dresser and her name puzzle. Believe it or not, I also got her ball pit on Etsy too!
The rattan egg chair, as well as the the circle pillow and the rainbow pillow in it are from World Market! I swear you go in there looking for a few things and then walk out with half the store. But, I love how this chair fills the space so nicely in here!
For the few final links, Summer’s crib friends are Cuddle + Kind dolls! They’re her favorites! And the faux olive tree in the corner is from Pottery Barn.
