Valentine’s Day Date Night In
Not only are we currently living through some pretty crazy times, but we also have a new baby and a Valentine’s Day Date Night In is just what this family is doing for 2021!
We love to be home and snuggle so these are really perfect for any date night in or Friday night fun for the whole family! In the past we have celebrated with our girls, but truly I can’t think of anything more fun than curling up on the couch with my Valentines this year!
Ice cream sundae and game night: HELLO! There is nothing better than homemade sundaes and board games – my kids love games and hearing them giggle is the best!
Get really dressed up and have a fancy dinner at home – cook or order your favorite takeout: Since we aren’t huge cooks (lol) we are planning on ordering some yummy takeout and getting our best Valentine’s jammies on – or maybe we will dress up! TBD!
Find a nearby drive in for a fun movie night out: Since a lot of theaters are still closed across the country, I looked into some fun drive in events happening around us. It’s such a great way for the kids to experience something new and it’s fun to watch movies and cuddle under the stars!
Plan a Valentine’s themed Scavenger hunt around the house – hide small heart-shaped candy and treats to find along the way: My kids are going to love this! Candy is there jam and it’s a fun interactive game for everyone!
Have a pizza night – make homemade heart shaped pizzas!: It is a lot easier than you think! Here is a simple and yummy tutorial!
